⛰I hope you’re all having a relaxing weekend doing something you LOVE!
⁣ ❄️ January and February seem to be the slowest months in the wedding industry, and for good reason! It’s cold!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✅ I’ve done my very best to take advantage of this slow season to invest my time in streamlining my workflow. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🙌🏻 I’m not a fan of wasting time so I LOVE finding ways to cut down on tasks that are simple but take a lot of time to accomplish. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 👌🏼 Do you have any secrets on how you save time with certain tasks? I’m all ears! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⬆️ Also, this is Wilks and Hannah on their special day looking PERFECTLY in love! 🖤
❄️ I’m feeling a little spoiled today.. the cold weather has caused a delay in the school schedule, so we didn’t have to get up early! 🤗⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣ 🙌🏻 I’ll admit, waking up on your own vs. waking to an alarm is like heaven. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ 🖤 I’m grateful for the extra rest- definitely thanking Jesus for the little things today!
🌳 I have so many #engagementsessions coming up this spring, I can barely contain my excitement!⁣ ⁣ ☀️ I’m looking forward to shooting in the warm sunshine with trees in BLOOM! ⁣ ⁣ 🌸 Anyone else excited?⁣
Lately I’ve felt a bit overwhelmed with all of the things on my to-do list. You know the feeling?⁣ ⁣ 🖥 Some weeks that list is full of items that are quick and easy, and other weeks the tasks are the big, time consuming ones. The ones that seem to take a few days to accomplish. ⁣ ⁣ ✍🏻 So, this morning I decided I would just make today a day of DOING. Any parents out there know this can be challenging with little ones at home but it is possible!⁣ ⁣ 🍰 I made it my goal to knock half of my to-do’s off my list before lunch and I DID. I’m shocked. And now I kinda want a nap, even though I don’t nap, ever. Cos I’m just not a napping person.⁣🤷🏼‍♀️ ⁣ 🙌🏻 Pick the thing you don’t want to do the MOST on your list today and DO IT. You’ll be so happy you did! 🖤
😍 One of the BEST parts of any wedding day is seeing the groom’s reaction to his bride. ⁣ ⁣ ❤️ Whether it’s tears or smiles, either reaction stirs up emotion in everyone. It’s my favorite part of the day.
💍 I don’t know about you guys, but I would convert every image to black and white if I could. ⁣ ⁣ 📷 Maybe because it’s reminiscent of days gone by, but I just think images without color still have such a powerful effect. So much emotion can be conveyed..⁣ ⁣ 🖤 I love moments like this in black and white. They instantly become timeless and classic, and those two things never go out of style.
⁣ ⁣❄️ This wedding party was such a blast! They are all from Florida and obviously snow isn’t a regular thing for them.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ❄️ Watching them play was like watching a bunch of kiddos go crazy in the snow for the very first time. It was seriously so much fun to photograph.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ❄️ Can every wedding day end by playing in the snow, please?! 🤗⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣
So far 2019 has consisted of a A LOT of hussling and preparation for the upcoming wedding season. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I can’t wait to get to know my couples and to create gorgeous portraits with them! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Who else is SO excited for wedding season?!⁣ ⁣ ⬆️ Also, this is Rebekah, killing it as usual! 😍
